“White Lives Matter” painted on a rock at Kent State U. It’s being considered a “direct threat” to black students.
KENT, OH – Kent State University is site of the “Kent State Massacre,” where, on May 4, 1970, national guardsmen opened fire on Vietnam war protesters who had become violent. Twelve students were shot. Four were killed. With that incident, like Berkeley, Kent State has enjoyed legendary status among Leftists, Marxists, and Anarchist agitators.Any story about politics or protest that can be connected to Kent State has greater poignancy among those invested in Leftist politics.
As part of their legacy of protest and student dissent, a large boulder known as “the front campus rock” has been “historically” available to students as a surface to paint messages on.
It is, as one might imagine, an ugly concatenation of discordant hues and symbols, all lacking any semblance of artistic coordination. Regardless, this boulder and the graffiti that covers it, are a matter of pride to Kent U students.
That is, until someone painted the “hurtful” statement “WHITE LIVES MATTER” on the rock on August 28. The White Lives Matter slogan (WLM) was painted over an obnoxious demand associated with the Marxist group Black Lives Matter (BLM). The demand is “Say their names.”
According to the #ADL, “#WhiteLivesMatter” is a “#WhiteSupremacist phrase... #KentState #BlackLivesMatter https://t.co/1DO4D7i8pa

This demand, and variations of it (“Breonna Taylor! Say her name!”), was angrily shouted into the faces of people leaving the Republican National Convention on the last day of the convention in Washington D.C.
The people who were subjected to this abuse showed fear on their faces. Later, Kentucky senator Rand Paul said that he and his wife thought they might have been killed if not for police.
The simplistic demand “Say their names!” appears designed to intimidate people into obedience. At the same time, they are made to look responsible or complicit in a purported cover-up of violence against the people whose names are involved.
Those names, Breonna Taylor, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, George Floyd, and others, are black Americans. They are also criminals. They were all killed by police while performing their lawful duties. None are completely innocent of decisions that led to their deaths.
