Russian language and Russian history exam admission centers will be opened in Dushanbe and Khujand

Russian language and Russian history exam admission centers will be opened in Dushanbe and Khujand
Two new exam admission centers in Russian language and Russian history will be opened in Dushanbe and Khujand in the near future. This was reported to Asia-Plus by the Migration Service of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of Tajikistan. The exact date of the centers' opening is still unknown.

The source noted that the centers will be established by the Government of the Tomsk Region of the Russian Federation under the Migration Service of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Currently, Tajik citizens who are in their homeland can take exams in the Russian language, history and legislation of Russia and receive a certificate only at the representative office of the State Budgetary Institution (SBI) of Moscow «Employment Center» in Dushanbe.
The Service explained that the reason for the opening of two more centers was the large number of requests from residents to the representative office of the Employment Center, which often leads to long queues.

«In this regard, it was decided to open two more examination centers. The exams will be conducted in a remote format,» the ministry said.According to Russian laws, in order to obtain patents, temporary residence permits and residence permits in this country, immigrants must pass exams in the Russian language, history and the basics of legislation of the Russian Federation.

The validity period of the language certificate for obtaining a patent is 3 years, and for a temporary residence permit and a residence permit — 5 years.

In 2024, passing the exam in the Russian language and history and the legislation of Russia to obtain a patent cost 3,800 rubles (equivalent to 450 somoni), and for a temporary residence permit (TRP) or a residence permit (residence permit) — 5,900 rubles (more than 700 somoni).

It should be noted that in November 2022, a representative office of the Moscow State University «Employment Center» opened in Dushanbe, where Tajik citizens wishing to travel to Russia to work can take exams in the Russian language, history and the basics of legislation of the Russian Federation and receive an appropriate certificate.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science announced that starting in 2026, immigrants in Russia will take exams in the Russian language, history and the basics of the country’s legislation remotely, using computer technology.
