Tajikistan likes Kyrgyzstan's halal brands
Tajikistan has become interested in importing dairy, confectionery and meat halal products from Kyrgyzstan. A Tajik delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister Hokim Kholikzoda visited a number of leading food processing enterprises in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz edition of the Economist reports.
During the trip, the delegation got acquainted with the production facilities of such companies as Adal Azyk (Toyboss trademark), Kulikovsky Confectionery House, Kant Sut (Belaya River trademark) and Toro. The Tajik side highly appreciated the level of technological development and export potential of the enterprises, noting the interest in importing Kyrgyz dairy, confectionery and meat halal products. The parties stressed the need to deepen cooperation in the field of standardization, exchange of experience and development of the halal industry.
The Ministry noted that such events contribute to the development of mutual trade, strengthening export potential and expanding economic integration between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Adal Azyk (TM Toiboss) is a meat processing brand founded in 2012. It produces sausages, sausages, sandwiches and meat delicacies under the brand «Toiboss-Halal». The products are certified according to Halal and EAEU standards.
Kulikovsky Confectionery House is a family–owned company founded in 1991 in Bishkek. Today it is a modern production facility with more than 200 names of desserts and food products. The special feature is the Smart Frost technology, which preserves the quality of products for up to 90 days. The company has ISO 22000 and Halal certificates.
Kant Day (TM Belaya Reka) is a dairy industry company that has been operating since 1998. It produces whole milk and fermented milk products, butter. The raw materials come from ecologically clean areas of the Chui region. The products are exported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Russia. It has ISO 22000 and Halal certificates.
Toro is the first specialized meat processing plant in Kyrgyzstan that produces fresh, chilled and frozen meat, as well as edible offal. The production is based on modern technologies of cattle slaughter and processing.
During the visit of the Tajik delegation to Kyrgyzstan, a number of other meetings were held on expanding economic partnership, strengthening cross-border cooperation and implementing joint projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
In particular, at the talks between First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev and Khokim Kholikzoda, the parties confirmed their desire to increase the volume of mutual trade to 500 $ million and discussed the progress of the CASA-1000 project.
