Ozon logistics center in Makhachkala attacked by drone, casualties reported
UAVs have attacked Ozon’s logistics center in Makhachkala, causing a fire at the warehouse, with several casualties preliminarily reported, the company’s press service said.
«A logistics center in Makhachkala was also hit by a drone attack. All systems functioned as normal, and we promptly evacuated the staff.
Preliminary reports indicate several injuries. <…> A fire broke out, and emergency services are working at the scene,» the press service said.
Warehouse operations have been suspended indefinitely, according to the report. «We have hidden the items stored at the warehouse from the marketplace storefront, they cannot be ordered for the time being. Orders being fulfilled from this warehouse will be cancelled, and customers will be refunded. <…> We are temporarily not accepting shipments from sellers due to safety concerns, of course,» the company said.
