US leader says deal with Iran impossible if naval blockade lifted
US President Donald Trump believes a deal with Iran will be impossible if the naval blockade is lifted.
«Iran doesn’t want the Strait of Hormuz closed, they want it open so they can make 500 $ million dollars a day. They only say they want it closed because I have it totally blockaded, so they merely want to ‘save face’,» Trump wrote on his Truth Social page. «But if we do that, there can never be a deal with Iran,» he added.
