The coronavirus has infected at least 338,000 people across the world and killed 14,600 in recent months, while over 10,000 remain in critical condition. However, almost 100,000 of those infected have recovered from the disease.
The global COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across the world, with the largest portion of new cases and fatalities reported in the United States, while Italy still reports the highest number of deaths and patients in critical condition. Numerous countries have closed their borders and introduced curfews to fight the virus.

China's Shanghai Scraps Highest COVID-19 Emergency Response Level

"Since March 3, no new domestic transmissions of the new coronavirus have been registered in Shanghai. The city government has decided to lower the emergency response level from I to II beginning at midnight on March 24 [16:00 GMT on 23 March]", the government wrote on Chinese social media network Weibo.

Number of Coronavirus Infection Cases in Mexico Reaches 316

"The number of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in Mexico has reached 316, suspected cases count 793. Two people died – one in Mexico City and one in Durango", the Health Ministry's Director for Epidemiology Ana Lucia De la Garza Barroso said at a press conference.
