#AP30/People. Timur Bandishoev: “Thank you for the friendship, for the experience, for the memories, and for the people!”

Radio hosts are not always visible or personally known, but loyal listeners can always recognize their voice among thousands. One such host was our presenter and former head of the radio’s information service, Timur Bandishoev. He shared the most interesting and amusing moments of his work in the section  #AP30/People.
Timur is one of those colleagues to whom «Asia-Plus» gave not only professional experience but also brought changes in personal life…
»Feeling the Profession"Timur is originally from Dushanbe and is a journalist by profession. His first career steps began during his student years when he started working at the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting and became an editor for the Russian service of the «Sadoi Dushanbe» radio channel.

»My mentor was the legend of Tajik radio broadcasting, Safargul Olimi. She gave us complete creative freedom: we chose topics for interviews and reports ourselves, searched for heroes, and learned to feel the profession,» recalls Timur Bandishoev.

                                          Soon fate brought him together with «Asia-Plus.» Timur came to our office for an interview as part of his radio program and learned about the recruitment of young people for training as radio hosts. The opening of the first private radio station in Dushanbe was planned, and special classes were organized for the future team.
