A laboratory for identifying dual-use goods has opened in Tajikistan
The Laboratory for the Identification of Dual-Use Goods has started operating under the Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, aimed at strengthening the national export control system and expert support.
The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Academician Kobiljon Khushvakhtzoda, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences Ilhom Amonzoda, Director of the Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety Ilhom Mirsaidzoda, heads of research institutes, and representatives of relevant state structures.
Participants of the event familiarized themselves with the laboratory’s technical capabilities, modern analytical equipment, and its role in expert support of export control of dual-use goods.
The opening of the laboratory marked an important stage in the development of the national security infrastructure aimed at preventing the illegal circulation of goods, materials, equipment, and technologies that can be used for both civilian and potentially sensitive purposes.

The Laboratory for the Identification of Dual-Use Goods has started operating under the Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
