Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that Washington and Tehran have agreed on the final version of the memorandum of understanding to end the conflict.
«We can confirm the achievement of a final, agreed text of the peace agreement,» — he wrote on the social network X.
He added that Pakistan, which acts as a mediator in the negotiations between the US and Iran, continues to work with both countries to agree on the next steps.

Meanwhile, as BBC writes, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the agreement with the US to cease hostilities in Iran is nearing conclusion and provides for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program will begin later.
American officials confirmed some details of the agreement, stating that the economic benefits for Iran after its conclusion will depend on Tehran fulfilling its obligations.
The war began with US and Israeli strikes on Iran on February 28, prompting Iran to strike Israel and US-allied states in the Persian Gulf, as well as effectively blocking the Strait of Hormuz — a key maritime route for transporting global oil and liquefied natural gas supplies.
Despite a ceasefire agreement reached in April, the US and Iran periodically exchanged strikes, including two rounds of retaliatory strikes on each other this week.
