CIS summit in Dushanbe: which presidents will attend?

CIS summit in Dushanbe: which presidents will attend?
The upcoming CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) summit, set for October 10 in Dushanbe, will see the arrival of eight heads of state from member countries.  The following leaders are expected to attend:
  • Vladimir Putin, President of Russia
  • Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan
  • Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia
  • Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus
  • Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan
  • Sadyr Japarov, President of Kyrgyzstan
  • Serdar Berdymuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan
  • Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, discussions during the summit will focus on regional and global security, enhancing political dialogue, strengthening trade and economic cooperation, and expanding humanitarian and cultural exchanges within the CIS. At the conclusion of the meeting, a series of agreements are expected to be signed.
