A man suspected of beating his 6-year-old stepson to death was detained in Dushanbe.
Employees of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs-2 in the Sino district of Dushanbe detained a 33-year-old resident of Jaloliddin Balkhi district, suspected of beating a young child, resulting in his death.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dushanbe, Bakhtieri Namoz, who was detained on August 22 this year, beat his wife’s son, six-year-old S.N., on Mukhammadiev Street, and then forcibly stuffed a tobacco product into his mouth.
As a result, the child died on the way to the hospital.
